It’s not only emotionally difficult to leave an abusive relationship, it is also very dangerous.
Your help is needed now to ensure that the life-saving services offered to victims of domestic violence in our community will be there when a woman is ready to leave.
She needs safety, support and education to overcome the tremendous obstacles facing her and her children as she struggles to begin rebuilding her life. DVC’s goals are to:
- Provide victims with access to the safety and services they need to live a life free of domestic violence.
- Promote recognition of domestic violence as a public safety, quality of life and health issue.
- Create societal change in which ending domestic violence is a responsibility for each community member.
